You can pay with your bank card, or you can transfer the money to our account, or pay through CIB Bank, or pay personally at our office. The domain name is what comes up in the topline of the browser, for example: http://www.YOURNAME.hu . The domain name, or internet address, or web address is a unique account on the internet. All you have to do is go to the ordering site and follow the instructions. You have to lengthen the validity of the domain with +1 year at the same time you do the cross registration. So if your domain is valid till 2010, then you will have to pay the lengthening with the cross registration, so your domain will be valid till the end of 2011.

A domain does not necessarily have to have a content. In order to obtain a content to your domain, you have to order a web storage service.

::. Should I choose a .hu or an international domain name ending?

It does not really matter, because you can access any homepage addresses from any part of the world, but there are arguments about the advantages of both choices. Registering domain names with .com/.net/.org endings cost less than a Hungarian .hu domain, but in the next few years, we will have to pay money for them, so domains with .com endings will be more expensive in the future.

Yes, it is worth having more domain names in many cases. For example, there is this company called "XY" that specializes in car repairing, then it is very useful to register themselves both domain names: carrepairing.hu and xy.com, so their website will be accessible at both addresses.

We can "secure" a web address for later use as well. But there are different regulations concerning .hu domains! Addresses with .hu ending must have immediate usage, but it is enough to have just one e-mail account, because it is considered as usage. You must be very careful with addresses that were bought for reselling, because according to the regulation, which is valid since the 1st of March 2005, people can easily loose their domain names if they offer it for sale without thoroughly thinking it over.

:: Can my domain name contain any accents? Is it worth registering the version of my domain name with accents too?

Yes, internet addresses with .com or .net endings can contain accents in their domain names since the Spring of 2004. With the help of a standard code system, some browsers can open webpages with accents in their names, but some of them are still unable to do so.

If you want to register the name of your account with accents, you have to do it immediately, before someone else snatches them from You, because it is almost like a mission impossible to get it, or it would cost you a great deal of money, if the owner of the name with accents gets to know about your vulnerability.
